This space was designed as an escape — deeply personal, unapologetically moody, and intentionally indulgent.
Our client came to us with one request: she wanted her bathroom to feel like hers. A place to retreat, exhale, and reset. To honor that vision, Damon reworked the home’s footprint, expanding an adjacent closet to make room for a freestanding soaking tub, transforming the bath into a destination rather than a pass-through.
This was a complete gut renovation, rebuilt from the ground up with a multi-purpose layout designed for ritual and flow. We are firm believers that luxury lives in the transitions — stepping out of a warm soaking tub and directly into the shower to rinse, reset, and repeat.
At the heart of the space is its spa energy. A cedar ceiling wraps the room in warmth, instantly grounding the darker palette while adding a natural, sensory layer reminiscent of a high-end wellness retreat. Above, a skylight washes the space in soft natural light, creating a quiet contrast between shadow and sun — moody by night, serene by day.
The palette remains rich and atmospheric, softened by subtle coastal accents that whisper beachside living without ever feeling literal. The result is a bathroom that feels slow, sensual, and restorative — a space meant for candlelight, steam, stillness, and long moments of pause.
This is the kind of room that invites you to linger. The kind that resets your nervous system. The kind where “Calgon, take me away” feels less like a phrase and more like a promise.
